Attraction Pass Itinerary Cost Calculator

Compare individual tickets and pass combinations for your fixed itinerary.
Save a plan with adult and child fares, consecutive service days and entry limits.

Starts with a synthetic example. Replace prices and confirm opening times, bookings, supplements and fare groups. Up to 20 people on one itinerary, 10 visits, 3 pass types, one of each type per person.

1. Party and fare basis

Total 1–20 people. Members of each group must share the same itinerary, rates and eligibility. If no child pass exists, enter the adult selling price for that group.

2. Fixed visit itinerary

Use the operator’s local service date. With a 03:00 cutoff, October 11 at 02:00 belongs to October 10. Individual tickets include mandatory fees; pass supplements are amounts still payable with a pass. Use the same facility name for repeat visits.

3. Pass offers

Consecutive service-day passes only. Enter 10 for unlimited visits and 1 for single entry per facility. Reflect purchase and activation restrictions in the usable date range. Percentage discounts, either/or attraction bundles and supplements that vary by pass are outside this model.

Pass prices are allocated fully to activation days, so daily savings can be negative. This does not model payment dates, guarantee reservations or include transport costs.

Will an attraction pass save money on your actual itinerary?

A long list of included attractions does not create savings if your family cannot visit them.
Travel with children or older relatives often requires more rest and travel time than a sample sightseeing route suggests.
This calculator fixes your chosen facilities and service dates first, then compares individual admission tickets with combinations of attraction passes.

The aim is to price the itinerary you want, rather than fill every available slot.
Adult and child fare groups are optimized separately, and buying no pass is always an option.
An individual-ticket-only result means those tickets are cheapest within the offers and limits you entered.
It is not a search of every promotion on the market.

What the comparison includes

Separate fare groups

The adult and child groups share one visit itinerary but may use different payment methods.
Everyone within a group must have the same prices and eligibility.
If grandparents have separate senior rates or children fall into several age bands, calculate those identical-rate groups separately.

Dates, facilities and entry limits

Offers include consecutive service days, a usable date range, included facilities, a total entry cap and a cap per facility.
A visit cannot receive two pass benefits.
Mandatory amounts still payable with a pass remain in the total as supplements.

The supported limits are 20 travelers in total, 10 visits and 3 pass types over a span of at most 30 service days.
Each person can buy at most one of each pass type.
These are calculator limits, not universal operator purchase rules.
Itinerary optimization, walking routes and live bookings are outside the calculation.

Prepare comparable prices and facility names

  • Individual ticket: the final per-person cost you can actually pay for that visit, including mandatory booking or exhibition charges.
Compare the same admission scope on both sides.
  • Pass supplement: the amount still payable for that visit when using a pass.
Do not repeat charges already included in the pass price.
This model requires the same visit supplement across all entered passes; pass-specific supplements need a separate comparison.
  • Facility name: use exactly the same name for repeat visits.
Surrounding spaces and letter case are ignored, but unrelated aliases are not automatically matched.
After renaming a facility, recheck its inclusion boxes on every pass.
  • Currency: use one currency throughout.
KRW and JPY accept whole units; USD and EUR accept two decimal places.
No exchange rate or international card fee is added automatically.

Zero-priced tickets and passes are valid inputs.
Enter a child’s actual free admission instead of assuming that child needs a paid pass.
Either fare group can have zero members, but the total must be between 1 and 20.
The child group is a pricing category; it does not imply that the operator sells a special child pass.

A service day is not necessarily 24 hours

Use the operator’s local service date

If the operator uses a 03:00 cutoff, a visit at 02:00 on October 11 belongs to the October 10 service day.
Enter that service date yourself; the calculator does not convert clock times or time zones.
Check actual opening and last-entry times separately, since a valid pass does not make a closed facility accessible.

A two-consecutive-day pass activated for October 10 covers October 10 and 11, not October 12.
Skipping sightseeing on the second day does not pause validity.
Products counting exact hours from first use or allowing nonconsecutive chosen days are outside this model.

Enter the first and last usable dates after checking the product’s purchase and activation restrictions.
If an activation deadline differs from the final admission date, confirm that the offer can be represented by the simple date range here.
Products with additional start restrictions that cannot be represented should be excluded and checked directly with the seller.

How the minimum-cost combination is calculated

Per-person group cost = selected pass prices + supplements for assigned visits + individual tickets for remaining visits.
Family total = adult per-person cost × adult count + child per-person cost × child count.
Saving = family individual-ticket baseline − selected family total.

For each offer, the solver considers every visit subset that satisfies inclusion, usable dates, consecutive days and entry caps.
It then combines compatible subsets without assigning the same visit twice.
The all-individual-ticket option remains available, so the overall saving cannot be negative.
Money is calculated in integer minor units to avoid rounding drift when adding prices.

Equal-cost solutions favor fewer passes, then input order.
Only one winning combination is displayed, rather than every tied alternative.
The answer is exact within the entered offers and one-of-each purchase limit, but does not account for unentered promotions, transfer rights or repeated purchases of one pass type.

Worked synthetic family example

Two adults and one child visit the facilities below.
An example two-day pass includes Museum, Tower and Aquarium and costs KRW 60,000 for either fare group, with no supplements.
These facility names, amounts and availability assumptions are invented for demonstration; they are not a real product tariff.

Synthetic service dates and individual per-person admission prices
Service date / facilityAdult ticket, KRWChild ticket, KRW

October 10 Tower25,00010,000
October 11 Aquarium40,00020,000
October 12 Garden10,0005,000

Individual tickets total KRW 105,000 per adult and KRW 45,000 for the child: KRW 255,000 for the family.
Each adult instead buys the KRW 60,000 pass and a KRW 10,000 Garden ticket, spending KRW 70,000.
The child keeps individual tickets totaling KRW 45,000.
The family minimum is KRW 185,000, a saving of KRW 70,000.
Buying the same pass for the child would increase the bill.

Step-by-step use and booking follow-up

  1. Choose the currency and enter counts for identical-rate groups.
Check age, residency, student and senior conditions with the seller first.
  2. Add your actual visits and service dates.
Confirm closures, last entry, booking availability and realistic travel/rest time.
  3. Enter pass prices, consecutive validity, usable dates, entry caps and included facilities.
Do not mark discount-only attractions as free admission.
  4. Record the date you checked official conditions and add source or booking notes.
Read unconfirmed scenarios separately from inputs you have confirmed yourself.
  5. Save the review and compare activation dates, payment methods and booking times with the seller’s screen.
Recalculate after any itinerary or price change before purchasing.

Read the allocation and daily differences

Each group’s result lists selected passes, their activation and final usable dates, assigned visit numbers and remaining individual tickets.
Having some uncovered attractions is normal: a partial pass combination may still minimize the whole trip’s cost.
Different groups can use different payment methods at the same facility.

The daily table allocates the full pass price to its activation day.
In the example, day one compares KRW 130,000 of individual tickets with KRW 140,000 of allocated costs, giving a negative KRW 10,000 daily saving.
Day two compares KRW 100,000 with KRW 20,000, saving KRW 80,000; day three costs KRW 25,000 either way.
The daily savings sum to KRW 70,000.
This allocation is not a record of actual card payment dates.

The TXT download includes full inputs, confirmation status, daily amounts, allocations and review limitations.
It is a planning record, not an admission ticket or reservation confirmation.
Changed inputs hide the old result so that you must recalculate before saving an updated review.

Practical scenarios and limits

A slower family trip

Keep only the places you genuinely intend to visit before comparing expensive passes.
A shorter day for rest or accessibility can change the pass’s value.
The calculator cannot determine whether opening times overlap or whether transfers between attractions are feasible.

Repeat visits

A one-entry-per-facility cap leaves a second visit for another valid pass or an individual ticket.
If the operator also prohibits repeat benefits across separate products, that restriction falls outside the independent-offer assumption.
Either/or attraction bundles are likewise unsupported.

Transport benefits, commuting rebates, accommodation, flights, exchange rates, insurance, cancellation fees and already-purchased pass sunk costs are excluded.
Repeated purchases of the same pass and different itineraries within a group are unsupported.
The example’s available status is a fictional premise, not live opening or booking information.

Frequently asked questions

Must I buy at least one pass?

No.
Buying only individual tickets is included, and may win for a short itinerary or discounted admissions.

What if no child pass is sold?

Enter the actual adult-pass price in the child-group field if the child may use that product.
Disable availability for the group if the traveler is ineligible.

What if a facility is closed or a booking is missing?

An unconfirmed or unavailable visit, or an unconfirmed required reservation, puts the calculation on hold.
Remove that visit or replace it with a confirmed feasible date and conditions.

Can I buy the same pass several times?

The model allows one of each type per person.
Repeat purchases and transfers between groups are not part of the reported minimum.

Can two passes discount the same visit?

No.
Each visit is assigned exactly one payment method.
Check separately for terms that also prohibit combining benefits across different visits or products.

Why can daily saving be negative?

The entire pass price is allocated to its activation day.
Compare the overall trip total; this is not a payment-date cash-flow statement.

Are hourly or nonconsecutive passes supported?

No.
Dates are local service dates for consecutive-day products.
There is no automatic time-zone conversion or appointment-time collision check.

Does the confirmation checkbox guarantee a reservation?

No.
It records your review of the conditions.
Recheck current prices, booking availability, opening dates, supplements and product terms before buying.
