Korea CSAT grade calculator guide

This English page translates the Korean CSAT grade calculator and calls calculateSubjectGrade, getScoreSummary, and calculateAllUniversityScores. It keeps percentile-based relative grading, raw-score absolute grading, and university conversion weights.

Relative and absolute grade rules

Korean, math, and inquiry subjects use percentile bands for relative grades. English uses a 100-point raw-score absolute system, while Korean History uses a 50-point raw-score absolute system.

The calculator therefore asks for percentile where the subject is relative and raw score where the subject is absolute. This avoids mixing score systems that Korean admissions offices treat differently.

University conversion scores

The Korean source includes university weight presets, English grade deductions, Korean History bonus handling, and rank ordering across modeled universities. The English page feeds the same AllScores object into that conversion function.

A university score is not simply the average of grades. The model applies subject weights for Korean, math, English, inquiry, and Korean History, then compares the converted total with that university preset maximum.

How to read the summary

The score summary lists subject grades, average grade, strong subjects, weak subjects, and a recommendation. A grade can be missing when the required input type was not provided, for example raw score for English.

Admission outcomes still depend on the actual 모집단, 탐구 combination, standard-score distribution, application group, and yearly university rules. This page preserves the Korean calculator path for scenario review rather than guaranteeing admissions results.
