Korea-based quotation planning · 2026

The interface uses m, mm, m³ and VAT-inclusive KRW quotations for Korean ordering discussions.
Initial geometry, 6 m³ truck capacity and a 0.5 m³ increment are editable teaching inputs, not national standards.
All market prices start at zero, and the default allowance is 0%.
The English interface uses exactly the same calculation functions as the Korean interface.

Enter dimensions and deductions by part

Prisms and cylinders

For a rectangular prism, enter length, width and height or thickness.
For a cylinder, enter diameter and height; the diameter field is not a radius field.
Use the count for identical copies and separate rows for different dimensions.
A floor or drawing reference in the part name helps the contractor review the schedule.

Units and row deductions

Select m or mm for dimensions; calculated volumes always use m³.
Changing the unit does not convert the entered numbers, so update both together.
The deduction applies once to the total row volume, after multiplying by the number of copies.
Use verified openings or overlaps and avoid subtracting the same space twice.

Use 1–10,000 identical members per row and up to 30 rows.
A deduction exceeding its row volume blocks the result.
Different strengths, suppliers, delivery dates or pours require separate calculations even if the geometry looks similar.
Keep approved drawings and the contractor quantity takeoff beside the saved review sheet.

From net volume to ordered volume

  1. Rectangular gross volume: length × width × height × count.
    Divide every mm dimension by 1,000 before multiplication.
  2. Cylindrical gross volume: π × (diameter ÷ 2)² × height × count.
    Subtract each row deduction once and sum the resulting net volumes to obtain V.
  3. Target volume T: V × (1 + allowance percent ÷ 100) + separate fixed loss.
    The allowance and fixed pump or site loss are user assumptions; do not include the same loss twice.
  4. Partial-load order O: round the greater of T and the initial minimum up to the order increment.
    Full-load mode then rounds this quantity up to a whole truckload.
    The minimum is per order, not a minimum billed quantity on every last truck.

A takeoff is not a yield test

A drawing-based volume is a planning quantity.
Evaluating delivered yield requires testing and delivery records, so a numerical difference here does not establish under-delivery or responsibility.
Review actual dimensions and site allowances with the contractor.
If the net volume is zero, all orders and costs remain zero even when fixed loss or minimum-order inputs are positive.

Read trips together with the last load

Delivery trips equal ordered volume divided by confirmed truck capacity, rounded up.
The model fills the first trucks and puts the remaining quantity on the last one.
A last load below capacity triggers one user-entered partial-load surcharge.
Trips are visits, not simultaneous vehicles or dispatch times; vehicle turnaround, placing rate, site access and waiting space need a supplier-led delivery schedule.

Compatible capacity and increment

Truck capacity must be a whole multiple of the order increment.
For example, a 6 m³ capacity and 0.5 m³ increment are compatible.
If the inputs fail this check, confirm the actual dispatch increment and permitted load with the supplier instead of changing them to obtain a preferred result.
Mixed truck capacities or several plants require a separate dispatch plan.

Keep five quotation components visible

  • Concrete: ordered m³ × quoted price per m³.
    If delivery is already included in that price, enter zero for separate delivery.
  • Truck charges: separate delivery per trip plus one surcharge on a partial last load.
    Review any different supplier charging method separately.
  • Initial pump: the complete confirmed quotation for initial mobilization and placing scope.
    The calculator does not select equipment size or estimate working hours.
  • Other initial costs: confirmed site charges and returns or disposal quotations.
    The model does not multiply theoretical surplus by a disposal rate and present it as actual waste cost.
  • Top-up costs: extra concrete, delivery, a partial-load surcharge, an extra-order fixed charge and an extra pump quote.
    Exclude items already covered by the initial agreement.

Enter final VAT-inclusive cash quotations consistently.
No VAT is added again and no input tax credit is deducted.
Until quote scope is confirmed and a positive concrete price is entered, amounts are entered-cost subtotals.
Zero is not a promise of a free service: identify every omitted or included item before ordering.

Separate shortage from the top-up minimum

Extra need A is added to target T, which already includes allowances and fixed loss.
Shortage = max(T + A − initial order O, 0).
If the initial rounding surplus covers the extra need, there is no top-up order.
Otherwise, the top-up minimum, order increment and selected partial/full-load method determine additional order Q.

When extra fixed charges apply

The extra-order fixed charge and additional pump quote apply only when Q is positive.
A zero shortage makes both zero.
Waiting costs without another order are a separate scenario requiring a quotation.
This comparison assumes the same concrete unit price and trip charges for initial and extra deliveries; reprice separately if the top-up supplier charges differently.

Worked example: a 12 m³ slab

A 10 m × 8 m × 0.15 m slab has a net volume of 12 m³.
A hypothetical 5% allowance plus 0.2 m³ fixed loss gives a 12.8 m³ target.
Assume a 6 m³ truck, 0.5 m³ increment and 1 m³ minimum for both initial and top-up orders.
Synthetic VAT-inclusive prices are KRW 100,000/m³, KRW 30,000 per delivery, KRW 50,000 per partial load, KRW 500,000 initial pump and KRW 20,000 other initial costs.
These are teaching figures, not market quotations.

Partial loads: 13 m³ initially

Three deliveries carry 6 + 6 + 1 m³; rounding surplus is 0.2 m³.
Initial cost is 1,300,000 + 90,000 + 50,000 + 500,000 + 20,000 = KRW 1,960,000.
An additional 1 m³ beyond target creates a 0.8 m³ shortage and a 1 m³ minimum top-up order.
With a KRW 40,000 extra-order charge and KRW 100,000 extra pump quote, top-up cost is KRW 320,000 and total scenario cost is KRW 2,280,000.

Full loads: 18 m³ initially

Three 6 m³ deliveries have no partial-load surcharge.
Initial cost is 1,800,000 + 90,000 + 500,000 + 20,000 = KRW 2,410,000.
The same extra 1 m³ is covered by the initial order, so no top-up charge applies.
Partial loads cost KRW 130,000 less in this particular scenario.
A different extra requirement or return agreement can change the decision.

Practical scenarios and interpretation

A rural house slab and foundations

Separate slab area and thickness from footing counts.
Check beam/slab overlaps against the drawing takeoff convention and ask the contractor to inspect the actual excavation.
Multiplying the whole building area by one arbitrary thickness can miss these distinctions.

Several small agricultural structures

Confirm that the parts can share a specification, location and delivery date before combining them.
Separate sites or dates can change delivery and minimum-order charges.
Part names and drawing references help the supplier review what is actually included.

Reviewing a possible late top-up

Enter extra need confirmed by the contractor to check whether initial surplus covers it.
The scenario surplus is a difference between planned quantities, not a measurement of material left on a truck.
Return eligibility, refunds and real waste quantities are not determined here.

Frequently asked questions

Does every truck carry 6 m³?

No.
The initial 6 m³ is an editable example.
Use the supplier-confirmed capacity permitted for your site.

Should I use a 5% allowance?

The worked example uses a hypothetical 5%.
The default is 0%, and the tool does not recommend a structural or site allowance.
Agree a value with the contractor.

Does the cylinder field use radius?

It uses diameter.
The formula divides diameter by two to obtain radius.
Check the unit at the same time.

Does the minimum apply to the last truck?

The minimum applies to the entire initial order or the separate top-up order.
A minimum billed quantity for each last truck needs a separate review.

Is rounding surplus the waste quantity?

No.
It is the difference between order and target.
It does not measure actual use, returns, refunds or delivered yield.

Should I add VAT to the result?

Do not add VAT again when all inputs are final VAT-inclusive quotes.
The calculator does not determine exemption or input-tax recovery.

Does a zero price mean the service is free?

No.
It can indicate a missing price or unconfirmed scope.
Read results as entered-cost subtotals until actual quotations are checked.

Can I combine strengths or truck types?

The model assumes one specification, one pour and one truck capacity.
Calculate other specifications, dates, plants or truck types separately before the supplier coordinates delivery.

Limits of this model

This tool does not design strength, mixture proportions, reinforcement or structural safety, select a pump, or assess placing time and vehicle access.
It cannot justify exceeding a permitted load or changing a quality specification.
Product input limits are not legal limits: maximum dimension input 100,000, maximum net volume 1,000,000 m³, and maximum individual price KRW 1 billion.
The model uses one surcharge per partial last load.
Compare complex minimum-billing, time-window, distance, waiting and cancellation terms with the actual agreement.
