Score structure

The maximum score is 84 points. The components are homeless period 32 points, dependents 35 points, subscription period 17 points.

Homeless period starts from the later of the applicable homeless start date and marriage date when the applicant married before age 30. An unmarried applicant under age 30 receives zero homeless-period points in the Korean source.

Dependents and account period

Dependent score ranges from 5 points for zero dependents to 35 points for six or more dependents. The subscription account period starts at 1 point and reaches 17 points at 180 months or more.

If a household member owns a home, the homeless-period score becomes zero. The calculator exposes that ownership flag because it can change the score sharply.

Using the score

Private housing up to 85 sqm can use a weighted lottery split such as 75 percent score competition and 25 percent lottery, while larger units can use a 50 percent and 50 percent split depending on notice. Always confirm the actual supply notice.
