Wegovy starts at KRW 230,000 for 0.25mg and reaches KRW 390,000 at 2.4mg maintenance in the Korean source schedule. The calculator applies the selected clinic price tier to each monthly dose step rather than multiplying one average price by the whole treatment period.

Saxenda maintenance is modeled at KRW 525,000 per month after the initial titration month. Because Saxenda is injected daily, its later monthly cost can exceed the early starter-month cost even when the same price tier is selected.

Mounjaro ranges from KRW 278,000 at 2.5mg to KRW 550,000 at 15mg maintenance. Weekly products such as Wegovy and Mounjaro use a different adherence and dose-step pattern from daily Saxenda.

Coverage and tax treatment

The Korean model treats these obesity injections as non-covered self-pay items. The insurance result is therefore shown as not covered, and the full medication price remains the patient burden unless a separate clinic promotion or private arrangement applies.
