Covered surgery and robotic fee

Sublobar VATS resection uses KRW 9,500,000 as the covered fee for early lung cancer. Open lung resection uses KRW 12,500,000, VATS lung resection uses KRW 11,000,000, and chemotherapy is modeled as KRW 6,000,000 for an annual covered outpatient course.

Robotic lung surgery is modeled as a non-covered robot fee, with KRW 9,000,000 to KRW 15,000,000 and KRW 11,000,000 as the average. The Korean model still adds covered ward and add-on items where applicable.

Cancer special-case copay

Ordinary inpatient surgery uses a 20 percent covered copay. Lung cancer special-case registration applies a 5 percent copay to covered cancer treatment. Outpatient covered treatment uses 30 percent, 50 percent, or 60 percent by hospital level.

Private indemnity reimbursement is generation-specific. The Korean source uses a higher non-covered copay for generation 5 on cancer surgery, so the English result does not flatten robotic or room charges into a generic reimbursement percentage.
