Ordinary inpatient colorectal cancer surgery uses a 20 percent NHI copay. Cancer special-case registration reduces the covered copay to 5 percent. Outpatient covered treatment uses 30 percent at hospitals, 50 percent at general hospitals, and 60 percent at tertiary hospitals.
