Treatment fee table

The Korean source separates outpatient treatment from inpatient surgery. Conservative medication and sitz-bath style care uses KRW 80,000 as a covered outpatient base. Rubber-band ligation uses KRW 250,000, and sclerotherapy injection uses KRW 200,000.

Hemorrhoidectomy uses a KRW 1,200,000 covered full fee and 2 default inpatient days. PPH uses a KRW 1,600,000 covered fee plus a separate non-covered stapler range of KRW 500,000 to KRW 1,000,000, with KRW 700,000 as the average. Laser hemorrhoid surgery is modeled as non-covered, using a range of KRW 800,000 to KRW 3,000,000 and KRW 1,500,000 as the average.

Combined disease and copay

The Korean calculator keeps combined anorectal disease explicit. Combined fissure surgery adds KRW 400,000 as a covered add-on, and combined fistula surgery adds KRW 800,000. PCA pain control is modeled at KRW 100,000 to KRW 200,000, with KRW 150,000 as the average.

Inpatient covered surgery uses a 20 percent copay. Outpatient covered care uses 30 percent at clinics, 50 percent at general hospitals, and 60 percent at tertiary hospitals. Low-income status uses 14 percent, and medical aid uses 10 percent.

Claim cautions

The Korean content flags non-covered laser claims as a dispute-prone area. A short hospital stay or non-covered laser bill may be treated differently from a covered hemorrhoidectomy, especially when medical necessity is weak or documentation is incomplete.
