Wedding fund roadmap guide

This English page translates the Korean wedding fund roadmap and calls calculateRoadmap, getDefaultItems, and differenceInMonths. It preserves manwon units, wedding style multipliers, region multipliers, venue auto-cost of 6.5 manwon per guest plus 300 manwon, compound monthly savings, gift income estimate, parent support, loan amount, shortage, delay, and downgrade scenarios.

Cost categories

Default items include venue and meal, studio-dress-makeup, rings or watches, yedan, hanbok and formalwear, invitations and favors, video, honeymoon, newlywed housing deposit, interior and appliances, honsu, and other preparation costs.

Wedding items are adjusted by style and region. Housing items are adjusted again by region, with Seoul using a higher multiplier. If the wedding style is registration only, wedding-category items are excluded.

Funding projection

Current groom assets and bride assets are combined, and monthly savings are compounded with the annual savings rate converted to monthly return. Gift income can be entered directly, while the model also reports the automatic estimate of guest count times 6 manwon.

Total available funds are current assets, future savings, gift income, parent support, and loan amount. The shortage field is positive when the couple is underfunded and negative when there is surplus.

Scenario outputs

The extra monthly saving scenario divides shortage by months left. The delay scenario estimates how many months of current monthly saving would close the gap. The downgrade scenario uses 20% of selected SDME, honeymoon, and rings as the immediate cut candidate.

Use this output before signing venue and housing contracts. Deposit timing, cancellation fee, exchange rates for honeymoon, furniture delivery, and family support timing can matter as much as the final total.
