Government support and tax credits

The First Meeting Voucher depends on birth order, parental pay is summed for 0 to 11 months and 12 to 23 months, and child allowance is CHILD_ALLOWANCE = KRW 100,000 per month for the 12-month display in this calculator. Local birth grants are region and birth-order specific.

Tax benefits include medical-expense credit for delivery plus prenatal tests, postpartum-center credit within the statutory limit, child tax credit, and the birth-year tax credit. The final out-of-pocket number subtracts immediate support and tax benefits from gross preparation cost.

Budget, standard, and premium comparisons

The Korean model also recalculates grade comparisons. Budget, standard, and premium choices switch hospital assumptions, postpartum center tier, and item-grade prices so the user can see how much the baby gear and postpartum path change the result.
