Facility rate structure

The parking calculator keeps per-facility rules. Seoul public level 1 parking is KRW 600 per 5 minutes with a KRW 48,000 daily cap and a KRW 300,000 monthly pass. Seoul level 2 is KRW 400 per 5 minutes with a KRW 32,000 daily cap and KRW 200,000 monthly pass. Seoul level 3 is KRW 300 per 5 minutes with a KRW 25,000 daily cap and KRW 150,000 monthly pass.

Other public examples use different first blocks. Busan public parking defaults to KRW 200 for the first 30 minutes and KRW 100 per 10 minutes after that, with a KRW 15,000 daily cap. Daegu public parking uses KRW 300 for 30 minutes and KRW 100 per 10 minutes after that, also with a KRW 15,000 daily cap.

Discount and monthly-pass comparison

Discounts are only applied where the source says they are applicable, mainly public, airport, and station facilities. Electric vehicles in public parking receive an additional 60 minutes of free time before fee calculation and then use the selected discount logic.

The monthly comparison calculates a single parking session with the same facility, time, discount, and purchase amount, multiplies it by the monthly visit count, and compares that amount with the monthly pass price. The break-even count is therefore tied to the selected facility rather than a universal parking average.

  • The final fee is calculated after free time, purchase-based free time, daily cap, and discount.
  • The effective hourly rate divides final fee by total parked time.
  • Multi-day parking applies the daily cap per full day plus the remaining time block.
