Uses calculatePensionStrategy with Korean public pension scenarios, pension income tax, separate versus comprehensive taxation, real-value projection, retirement-gap 4% rule, linked pension, and reemployment reduction. This English finance calculator calls the same Korean pure calculation module as the Korean page. KRW amounts, Korean thresholds, insurance rules, tax logic, and scenario assumptions are preserved instead of the old generic percentage stub.

Public servant pension strategy guide

This English guide translates the Korean public servant pension strategy simulator. The calculator calls calculatePensionStrategy and keeps retirement timing, tax, real value, linkage, and reemployment logic.

Retirement timing scenarios

The Korean engine compares retirement scenarios by year and month, service years, gross monthly pension, net monthly pension, pension start age, waiting years, retirement allowance, lifetime net amount, and return ratio.

The best scenario is selected from these outputs, not from one simple target age. A later retirement can increase pension but also changes waiting period and lifetime total.

Tax and real value

The strategy module calculates pension income deduction, taxable income, income tax, local tax, monthly tax, effective tax rate, and whether separate or comprehensive taxation is better.

It also projects nominal monthly pension and real monthly pension after inflation. This is important because a stable pension can still lose purchasing power over a long retirement.

Gap, linkage, and reemployment

The retirement gap analysis compares net pension, other pension income, other income, target monthly living cost, monthly gap, required asset by the 4% rule, waiting-period cost, and waiting years.

If National Pension history exists, the linked pension result checks combined years and linked monthly amount. If reemployment is planned, the model estimates pension reduction and reemployment-period loss.
