Korea career-break reemployment calculator guide

This English page translates the Korean career-break reemployment calculator and calls calculateAll from the career-break feature library. It preserves inflation-adjusted previous wage, net salary, Saeil intern support, employment-promotion support, national employment support, training support, and DuruNuri support.

Wage recovery analysis

The Korean calculator compares the desired reemployment salary with the previous monthly salary adjusted for the length of the career break. It calculates gross salary, social insurance, income tax, local income tax, total deduction, net salary, adjusted previous salary, wage change rate, and wage gap.

Because the English page calls the same function, changing career-break years, previous salary, or desired salary changes both the wage recovery result and support eligibility branches in the same way as the Korean page.

Saeil and employment-promotion support

The Saeil intern branch separates employer internship subsidy, conversion bonus, participant allowance, 6-month retention bonus, 12-month retention bonus, total employee support, and total employer support. Eligibility can change by work type and wage level.

The employment-promotion branch estimates monthly amount, duration months, total amount, and eligibility based on company size. The English content keeps this distinction instead of merging every subsidy into one generic support amount.

National employment support and training

The Korean model includes National Employment Support Program Type I and Type II outputs. Type I includes monthly job-search allowance, dependent extra allowance, duration, total, and recommended type, while Type II includes participation allowance and duration.

Training support is calculated from training status, with separate basic support, additional support, total support, and eligibility. Users who have completed or are taking training can therefore see a different support mix from users with no training plan.

DuruNuri and employer-side view

DuruNuri support estimates National Pension and employment-insurance support for eligible small workplaces and new workers. The Korean function returns monthly and annual support plus ineligibility reasons.

The result separates total employee subsidy, total employer subsidy, and total training support. That split matters because some support improves the worker household cash flow while other support reduces employer hiring cost.
