English kindergarten and international school cost guide

This English page translates the Korean English-kindergarten and international-school cost calculator and calls calculateInstitutionComparison, calculateDifference, calculateBurdenRate, and calculateLongTermScenarios. Amounts are KRW, and Nuri support is preserved.

Monthly and first-year cost

The institution comparison keeps one-time items such as enrollment fee and recurring items such as tuition, meal, bus, materials, and activity cost. First-year totals can differ because enrollment cost is included only when the first-year flag is active.

Government support is not applied as a generic discount. The Korean source subtracts applicable Nuri-course support only for supported institution types, then reports gross monthly cost, gross annual cost, net monthly cost, and net annual cost.

Burden-rate interpretation

Burden rate is net monthly cost divided by household monthly income. The Korean constants classify ranges into optimal, caution, warning, and danger so the output gives a cash-flow signal instead of only an absolute KRW amount.

English kindergarten can look affordable in a one-month view but become risky when compared with income, sibling costs, housing cost, and savings goals. The calculator keeps the same burden classification used by the Korean page.

Long-term school-path scenarios

The long-term simulator compares school paths such as all-general schooling, English kindergarten then general school, and English kindergarten then international school. It applies annual inflation to each stage and accumulates total cost.

International-school decisions also involve admissions, curriculum, language environment, transfer risk, and university plans. Use the numeric result as a financial baseline, then review school-specific tuition tables and refund rules.
