Child development therapy cost calculator

This English page follows the Korean child-development therapy guide for language therapy, play therapy, sensory integration, cognitive learning, art, music, occupational therapy, ABA, psychomotor therapy, social group therapy, facility type, voucher tier, assessment, and tax deduction.

Therapy session costs

Developmental language therapy is KRW 50,000 to KRW 90,000 per session in the Korean source. ABA, sensory integration, occupational therapy, play therapy, cognitive learning therapy, art therapy, music therapy, psychomotor therapy, and social group therapy use their own ranges and coverage flags.

The monthly voucher bucket is KRW 260,000. Voucher tiers split that bucket between government support and family copay, so the same therapy plan can have different family burden by income tier.

Facility and assessment logic

Private centers, welfare centers, university clinics, and hospital rehabilitation departments have different coefficients and tax treatment. Hospital therapy can be medical-expense tax credit, while non-hospital special education can follow a different deduction path.

Initial assessment options include K-DST screening, language assessment, comprehensive development assessment, autism assessment, intelligence testing, and attention or ADHD assessment.

Long-term plan

The result shows monthly family cost, total therapy family cost, assessment total, government support, tax credit, annual family cost, facility comparisons, and yearly projection.

Use the estimate with the child-development center plan, voucher decision notice, disability registration status, hospital prescription where needed, school or daycare feedback, and reassessment schedule.
