Arrhythmia Ablation Cost Calculator

Arrhythmia Ablation Cost Calculator helps estimate Korea-related hospital procedure, surgery, recovery, complication reserve, and insurance scenarios in English.

Arrhythmia ablation cost calculator

Uses the Korean arrhythmia ablation model for PSVT, WPW, flutter, atrial fibrillation, VT, PVC, RFA, cryoballoon, PFA, 3D mapping, inpatient days, hospital level, room, indemnity, and tax credit.

Covered procedure total

₩21,800,000

Ablation, mapping, and inpatient room in the Korean source model.

PFA savings

₩13,140,000

PFA comparison is only applicable when PFA is selected for atrial fibrillation.

The English calculator calls the same Korean pure function as the Korean page; labels are translated, not re-modeled.

Arrhythmia ablation cost calculator

This page translates the Korean arrhythmia ablation guide for PSVT, WPW, atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation, VT, PVC, RFA, cryoballoon, PFA, 3D mapping, inpatient days, upper-room cost, indemnity, and tax credit.

Ablation fee structure

The Korean model uses KRW 3,000,000 for PSVT, KRW 3,200,000 for WPW, KRW 5,500,000 for atrial flutter, KRW 13,000,000 for atrial fibrillation, KRW 11,000,000 for ventricular tachycardia, and KRW 6,000,000 for PVC as covered base fees before mapping and room.

For atrial fibrillation, cryoballoon adds KRW 2,500,000 and PFA adds KRW 4,500,000 as covered catheter premiums. Three-dimensional mapping adds KRW 4,000,000 when selected.

PFA 2026 treatment

Pulsed-field ablation is modeled as covered from May 1, 2026 in the Korean source. The page also keeps the pre-coverage self-pay comparison of KRW 17,500,000 so the savings card can show why the 2026 coverage change matters.

Ordinary inpatient ablation uses a 20 percent covered copay, with low-income and Medical Aid overrides. Private indemnity reimbursement uses generation-specific covered, non-covered, and upper-room rates.

Reading the estimate

Non-atrial-fibrillation arrhythmias are fixed to RFA in the source model because cryoballoon and PFA are meaningful mainly for atrial fibrillation pulmonary vein isolation. Hospital level, upper-room days, annual salary, and insurance generation still affect the final self-pay result.
