Calls compareAllCards with the Korean card table, minimum spend checks, benefit caps, annual fee subtraction, category-by-category benefit calculation, and optimal-card-combo search. This English finance calculator calls the same Korean pure calculation module as the Korean page. KRW amounts, Korean thresholds, insurance rules, tax logic, and scenario assumptions are preserved instead of the old generic percentage stub.

Credit card benefits guide

This English guide translates the Korean credit card benefits optimizer. The calculator calls compareAllCards with the Korean card table, category rules, caps, minimum spend, and annual fee option.

Category spending

The Korean card model uses monthly spending across dining, online, mart, transport, fuel, telecom, subscription, medical, education, and general categories.

Each card can have different category benefit rates, monthly caps, and minimum spending requirements. The calculator therefore compares actual category spending instead of applying one average cashback rate.

Net benefit

The result subtracts annual fee when selected and reports monthly net benefit, annual net benefit, effective benefit rate, whether minimum spend is met, and whether benefit caps are hit.

A high-rate card can lose to a lower-rate card if spending misses the minimum threshold or if the largest category quickly reaches a cap.

Card ranking and combo

The Korean engine ranks every card, finds the best card by category, and estimates an optimal card combo. This is useful when one card is strong for telecom and another is strong for dining or online shopping.

The output should be read with actual monthly card use. If spending changes seasonally, rerun the calculation with a conservative average rather than one unusually high month.
