What Is the Korea AI Deepfake and AI Rights Damages Calculator?

This calculator estimates Korean civil damages, litigation cost, and criminal-risk context for AI deepfake, voice clone, portrait-right, AI fraud, personal-information, copyright, and defamation-style AI misuse cases.

The English calculator calls the same Korean function as the Korean page. It evaluates the AI content type, actor, intent, technical quality, spread scale, media channel, repetition, exposure period, commercial use, identifiability, mental harm, social harm, economic damage, consent, apology, and prior record.

Important Note

AI image or voice content can trigger several routes at once: civil damages, criminal complaint, personal information claim, copyright or portrait-right claim, takedown request, and platform preservation request. Do not rely on a single damages number when material is still spreading.

Inputs That Change the Estimate

Dispute factsSexual deepfake, AI voice clone, AI fraud, copyright, portrait or defamation misuseSelects the base damages range and criminal warning context
Production and spreadTechnical quality, SNS or messenger spread, online community, repetition, exposure daysChanges the spread and culpability multipliers

Civil, Criminal, and Takedown Tracks

  • Deepfake sexual material is treated more severely than ordinary parody or low-identifiability content because the model considers privacy, sexual autonomy, and secondary spread.
  • Commercial use, paid distribution, or use in fraud can move the case beyond image-right harm into business-loss and criminal-risk analysis.
  • The calculator adds separately entered economic loss to the civil-damages range instead of hiding it in a percentage formula.
  • Litigation cost is shown in Korean won, while the core damages range follows the Korean content convention of manwon-level damage modeling.

Evidence Checklist

Preserve the original URL, platform account, upload time, view count, comments, repost history, file hash, watermarks, direct messages, payment traces, and any prompt or generator record before takedown removes public evidence.

If the victim is identifiable to school, workplace, family, customers, or the general public, document how the identification happened. That proof often matters more than whether the image was labeled as AI-generated.

FAQ

Does an AI label make the content safe?

No. A label can affect deception analysis, but Korean civil and criminal issues can remain if the victim is identifiable or if sexual, defamatory, fraudulent, commercial, or personal-information harm exists.

Why does the calculator ask about economic damage separately?

Lost work, therapy, relocation, business loss, and evidence-preservation cost are not the same as consolation money. The Korean model adds them as separate economic damage.

Legal Use Notice

This English page translates and adapts the Korean calculator content for Korea-based estimates. The interactive calculator reuses the same Korean pure calculation function as the Korean page, so the numerical result is aligned with the Korean service. It is an estimation tool, not legal advice for a specific dispute.
