This English finance calculator calls the same Korean pure calculation module as the Korean page. KRW amounts, Korean thresholds, insurance rules, tax logic, and scenario assumptions are preserved instead of the old generic percentage stub.

Startup profitability guide

This English guide translates the Korean startup profitability simulator. The calculator calls runSimulation with Korean cost, tax, insurance, break-even, sensitivity, and grade logic.

Initial investment and monthly profit

Initial investment includes deposit, key money, interior cost, equipment cost, initial stock, and other startup cost. These are separated because some amounts can be recovered while others are sunk costs.

Monthly profit starts with monthly revenue or daily revenue times business days, then subtracts rent, management fee, labor, employer social insurance, loan interest, insurance, material cost, delivery fee, card fee, marketing, packaging, and other cost.

Korean tax treatment

The Korean engine estimates VAT, income tax, local tax, and tax bracket effects. It distinguishes simple taxpayer and general taxpayer assumptions through revenue and include-tax settings.

The output reports operating profit, net profit, profit margin, tax detail, and total annual tax so the owner does not mistake sales for cash profit.

Break-even, sensitivity, and grade

The simulator calculates break-even months, yearly cumulative profit, residual value, final profit with residual value, sensitivity to revenue changes, and a profitability grade from A to F.

The improvement list can point to cost reduction, revenue increase, tax review, or initial investment reduction. This is the practical part of the Korean page depth.
